(Juneau) Registration is now open for the Dodge County UW Extension Office’s Youth Farm Tractor and Machinery Safety Training course. Provided by the Dodge County UW Extension in cooperation with high school agriculture instructors and industry professionals, the course covers topics such as livestock safety, electrical safety, confined space safety, and more. Spanning three Saturdays in January the course will be held at the Dodge County Administrative Building Auditorium in Juneau from 8:30am to 3:30pm on January 11th, 18th, and 25th with attendance at all three dates being required. Parents should plan on attending the first 45 minutes of the first class for orientation. Pre-registration is required. Registration forms are available online at the Extension Office website, or in person at the Dodge County Extension Office at 127 East Oak Street in Juneau. Fees are $35 if registered before January 3rd and $45 for registration after January 3rd.
