(Watertown) Watertown Regional Medical Center is hosting a hiring event Wednesday. Hospital officials say they have a number of career opportunities available. Chaz Evans is a clinical talent acquisition partner.
“Right now, our openings include for healthcare: registered nurses, LPN’s, clinical support medical assistant, patient care partners,” says Evans. “We have opportunities in radiology, opportunities in the lab, occupational physical therapist, respiratory therapist, and a mental health tech as well.”
Evans says this in-person event will also offer potential sign-on bonuses and introduce applicants to the people who help make the facility a leader in care for its community. She adds that candidates can meet the staff, learn about working in the hospital, hear about opportunities for career growth, and interview for a job.
Human Resources Recruiter Susan Demick says they are looking for team players.
“No one works on an island so you have to be able to work with your co-workers and be a reliable person for them also,” says Demick. “Customer service cause that’s the field we’re in. Strong work ethics…and the ability to learn a job and perhaps cross train.”
The hiring event will take place from 10am to 8pm Wednesday, October 26th, at the Watertown Regional Medical Center at 125 Hospital Drive inside Harvest Market. Those going are asked to enter through the main entrance.
