(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 528 cases of COVID-19 in Wednesday’s daily update. There is a total of 13,413 people now having tested positive. Eight-percent of tests were positive in the latest update compared to five-percent on Tuesday and three-percent on Monday; Saturday also saw eight-percent of tests come back positive. State public health officials reported 14 deaths on Wednesday bringing the total to 481. There have been 2,161 people requiring hospitalization, which is 16-percent of those known to have contracted the virus. To date, over 154-thousand tests have been administered that came back negative. Dodge County has three new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 112 with one death on record, a resident who died out of state. Negative results in Dodge County increased from 2079 on Tuesday to 2135 on Wednesday. Washington County has experienced four deaths to date with 163 people testing positive. Fond du Lac County has three deaths and 148 positive tests. Jefferson County has two deaths with 62 positive tests. There has been one death in Columbia County and 37 positive cases. Green Lake County has 11 cases.
