Wisconsin Health Department Records No COVID Deaths In Sunday’s Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,507 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 75,035 active cases in the state, a decrease of 887 from Saturday. Active cases make up 21.2-percent of the 354-thousand who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 276-thousand recoveries.

For the first time in nearly two months, state health officials recorded no deaths and that number remains unchanged at 3,005. Deaths account for point-eight-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 255-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County has 66 deaths on record and 7,697 cases, a one-day increase of 249. The county had 77 negative tests returned for a running total of 32,533.

Washington County has reported a total of 64 deaths along 7,997 cases.

Fond du Lac County is reporting 40 deaths with 7,859 positive tests on record.

Jefferson County has recorded 33 deaths and 4,849 cases to date.

There have been 10 deaths in Columbia County where there have been 3,121 total cases.

Green Lake County has logged five deaths and has 1,121 cases on record.
