(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,777 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 35,345 active cases in the state, an increase of 1,000 from Friday. Active cases make up 20.3-percent of the 173-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 136-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 12 deaths, for a total of 1,600. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 218-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 22 deaths on record and 3,050 cases, an increase of 159 from Friday. The county so far has had 27,028 negative tests returned. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 862 people while 1,677 have recovered.
Washington County has experienced 40 deaths and 3,773 cases, there are currently 855 active cases.
Fond du Lac County has 3,543 positive tests on record, with 1,085 being active cases, and 17 deaths.
Jefferson County has reported nine deaths and 2,204 cases to date, 461 are active cases.
There have been four deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,464 total cases, currently the county has 496 active cases.
Green Lake County has two deaths and has 614 cases on record, 248 were reported in the last two weeks.
