Wisconsin Department Of Health Thursday Coronavirus Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 4,618 positive coronavirus cases in Thursday’s daily update. There are 64,646 active cases in the state, a decrease of 1,280 from Wednesday. Active cases make up 16.2-percent of the 399-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 331-thousand recoveries.

The state reported 60 deaths bringing that total to 3,562. Deaths account for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 272-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County has experienced 75 deaths and 8,622 cases to date. The county had 117 negative tests returned for a running total of 33,569. County health officials are actively monitoring 962 people, nine less than Wednesday.

Washington County has now reported 74 deaths along with 9,225 cases, with 2,012 being active cases.

Fond du Lac County has 50 deaths and has 8,702 positive tests on record; 1,001 are active cases.

The state says Jefferson County has seen 40 deaths and 5,485 cases to date; with 656 active cases.

Columbia County has 12 deaths and 3,555 positive tests; currently the county has 929 active cases.

Green Lake County has six deaths and 1,204 cases on record, with 118 cases reported in the last two weeks.
