(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 2,676 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’ daily update. There are 28,988 active cases in the state, an increase of 787 from Saturday. Active cases make up 19.3-percent of the 150-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 119-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded seven deaths, for a total of 1,465. Deaths accounted for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.6-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 213-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 19 deaths on record and 2,550 cases, an increase of 71 from Saturday. The county had three negative tests returned for a running total of 24,797.
Washington County has experienced 37 deaths along with 3,284 cases, a one-day increase of 86.
Fond du Lac County has 2,888 positive tests on record along with 15 deaths.
Jefferson County is reporting eight deaths and 1,879 cases to date.
There have been three deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,103 cases.
Green Lake County has one death and has 459 cases.
