(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 472 cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s daily update. There is a total of 13,885 people now having tested positive. Five-percent of all tests were positive in the latest update compared to eight-percent on Wednesday, five-percent on Tuesday and three-percent on Monday. State public health officials reported six deaths on Thursday bringing the total to 487. A fourth person has died from coronavirus in Fond du Lac County where 148 people have tested positive. Dodge County has nine new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 121 with one death on record, a resident who died out of state. Negative results in Dodge County increased from 2135 on Wednesday to 2221 on Thursday. Washington County has experienced four deaths to date with 171 people testing positive. Jefferson County has two deaths on record with 67 positive tests. There has been one death in Columbia County and 36 positive cases. Green Lake County now has 12 cases. Statewide, there have been 2218 people requiring hospitalization, which is 16-percent of those known to have contracted the virus. To date, over 163-thousand tests have been administered that came back negative.
