Wisconsin Department Of Health Reports 400 New COVID-19 Cases

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 400 cases of COVID-19 in Sunday’s daily update. There is a total of 15,277 people now having tested positive. State public health officials reported three deaths on Sunday bringing the total to 510. Statewide, there have been 2,315 people requiring hospitalizations, which is 15-percent of those known to have contracted the virus. Dodge County reported three new cases Sunday, for a total of 152, with one death on record. The county had 127 negative tests returned for a total of 2,508. Mapping data indicates that there are 45 cases in the city of Beaver Dam; At least 40 of those cases were reported in the past two weeks when the area first began registering on the state health department website, which only tracks cases starting with five or more. The Waupun-area appears to have 27 cases on the Dodge County side of the county line. In Fond du Lac County 165 people have tested positive and there are four deaths on record. Washington County has experienced four deaths to date with 193 people testing positive. Jefferson Count has reported three deaths and has a total of 80 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County and 37 positive cases. Green Lake County has 14 cases.
