Wisconsin Department Of Health Reports 10,611 Coronavirus Cases

(Dodge County) Wisconsin saw an increase of 193 cases in Tuesday’s daily update with a total of 10,611 people now having tested positive. State public health officials say there were nine more deaths reported bringing the statewide total to 418. There have been 1877 people requiring hospitalization, which is 18-percent of those known to have contracted the virus. To date, nearly 113-thousand tests have been administered that came back negative. Dodge County had one new coronavirus case announced, bringing the total to 75. Dodge County has one death on record; a resident who died out of state. Negative results increased from 1434 on Monday to 1652 on Tuesday. That increase of over 200 tests was driven by mass testing of workers at Richelieu Foods in Beaver Dam. In a press release, the Wisconsin National Guard reported that a team collected over 400 specimens at the food processing facility on Friday and Saturday. Washington County has experienced four deaths to date with 119 people testing positive. Fond du Lac County has three deaths on record with 108 positive tests. There has been one death in Columbia County and 32 positive cases. Jefferson County has two deaths with 51 positive tests. Green Lake County has eight cases.
