Wisconsin Department Of Health COVID Sunday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,119 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 22,882 active cases in the state, a decrease of 532 from Saturday. Active cases make up 4.3-percent of the 532-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 504-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded six deaths bringing that total to 5,691. Deaths account for 1.1-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 416-thousand people have died in the United States.

Dodge County has experienced 138 deaths and 11,041 cases, a one-day increase of 10 positive tests. The county had 51 negative tests returned for a running total of 38,202.

Washington County has seen 119 deaths along with 13,072 cases to date.

Fond du Lac County has reported 76 deaths with 11,368 positive tests on record.

The state says Jefferson County has seen 66 deaths and 7,417 cases to date.

Columbia County has seen 39 people and 4,744 positive tests.

Green Lake County has 14 deaths with 1,473 cases on record.
