Wisconsin Department Of Health COVID-19 Friday Numbers

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 6,141 positive coronavirus cases in Friday’s daily update. There are 55,684 active cases in the state, an increase of 1,358 from Thursday. Active cases make up 21.7-percent of the 256-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 198-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 62 deaths, brining that total 2,256. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.9-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 236-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County has now recorded 38 deaths and 5,458 cases, an increase of 133 from Thursday. The county had 174 negative tests returned for a running total of 29,809. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 1,330 people while 3,004 have recovered.

Washington County has experienced 50 deaths and 5,545 cases, there are currently 1,700 active cases.

Fond du Lac County has 5,815 positive tests on record, with 1,706 being active cases, and 25 deaths.

Jefferson County has now reported 24 deaths and 3,373 cases to date, 704 are active cases.

There have been seven deaths in Columbia County where there have been 2,134 total cases, currently the county has 648 active cases.

Green Lake County has four deaths and has 876 cases on record, 201 were reported in the last two weeks.
