Wisconsin Department Of Health Coronavirus Tuesday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 2,020 positive coronavirus cases in Tuesday’s daily update. There are 24,852 active cases in the state, an increase of 263 from Monday. Active cases make up 18.2-percent of the 136-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 110-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 18 deaths Tuesday, for a total of 1,381. Deaths account for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.7-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 209-thousand were from the United States.

Dodge County has 19 deaths on record and 2,226 cases, an increase of 19 from Monday. The county had 56 negative tests returned for a running total of 24,341

Washington County has experienced 35 deaths along with 2,976 cases, a one-day increase of 54 cases.

Fond du Lac County has 2,533 positive tests on record along with 14 deaths.

Jefferson County is reporting eight deaths and 1,698 cases to date.

There have been three deaths in Columbia County where there have been 864 cases.

Green Lake County now has 376 cases.
