(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 4,360 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 59,088 active cases in the state, an increase of 969 from Sunday. Active cases make up 21.7-percent of the 271-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 210-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 17 deaths, bringing that total to 2,329. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.8-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 238-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 44 deaths on record and 5,840 cases, an increase of 102 from Sunday. The county had 102 negative tests returned for a running total of 30,278. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 1,508 people while 3,190 have recovered, an increase of 186 from Friday.
Washington County has experienced 50 deaths and 5,943 cases, there are roughly 1,700 active cases.
Fond du Lac County has 6,220 positive tests on record, with 1,782 being active cases, and 26 deaths.
Jefferson County has now reported 26 deaths and 3,637 cases to date, 660 are active cases.
There have been nine deaths in Columbia County where there have been 2,328 total cases, currently the county has 750 active cases.
Green Lake County has four deaths and has 928 cases on record, 203 were reported in the last two weeks.
