Wisconsin Department Of Health Coronavirus Monday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,407 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 26,389 active cases in the state, a decrease of 281 from Sunday. Active cases make up 5.4-percent of the 487-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 456-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded nine deaths bringing that total to 4,884. Deaths account for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the nearly two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 350-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County has seen 125 deaths and 10,480 cases, a one-day increase of 15 positive tests. The county had 21 negative tests returned for a running total of 36,820. Health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 373 people.

Washington County has seen 97 deaths along with 11,830 cases to date.

Fond du Lac County has 67 deaths with 10,612 positive tests on record; 562 are active cases.

The state says Jefferson County has seen 57 deaths and 6,758 cases to date; with 443 active cases.

Columbia County has 32 deaths and 4,287 positive tests; currently there are 190 active cases.

Green Lake County has reported 10 deaths with 1,402 cases on record, with 51 cases being reported in the last two weeks.
