Wisconsin Arts and Peony Festival Returns to Beaver Dam

(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam is home to the largest peony plant festival in the state. The Wisconsin Arts and Peony Festival is in its third year of existence and activities are held at both Ovans Peony Farm and the downtown area. One of the events taking place at the farm is called “Picnic in the Peonies.” Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce director of Marketing and Tourism Shannon Koele says that people can sign up to participate if interested.
“They set up tables near the peonies and they have catering coming in,” Koele says. “You can purchase tickets through Ovans Peony Farm as well as Visit Beaver Dam.com.”
Other events at the farm include peony design classes, a peony boutique, and peony painting presented by the Dodge County Center for the Arts. For downtown Beaver Dam events, Koele says there will be an art market that will feature a book signing for Sarah Csiacsek’s book Chonky Amigurumi.
“She’ll be doing her book signing and you can pre-purchase her books online,” says Koele. “We’ll have the link on Visit Beaver Dam.com and we’ll be posting on social where you can find that link.”
The book signing will take place on Maple Avenue from 10am to 5pm on June 10th. The 2023 Wisconsin Arts and Peony Festival will be held June 5th through the 13th at Ovans Peony Farm and in downtown Beaver Dam.
