(Columbia County) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is hosting a public involvement meeting to discuss planned improvement projects on Wisconsin Highway 16 between US 51 and Fall River-Columbus in Columbia County. The meeting is to be held at the Pacific Town Hall in Pardeeville and will include a brief presentation outlining the scope of the proposed work. Current plans are to resurface Highway 16, widen paved shoulders, and replace a bridge that spans over the Crawfish River. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2020. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input, and ask questions regarding the project. Maps will be on display with WisDOT representatives on hand to discuss the proposed project while addressing questions or concerns. The meeting will be held on Thursday February 20th from 5:30pm till 7 at the Pacific Town Hall in Pardeeville.
