My volleyball coach, Dan TenNapel, is always someone that knew during practice or a game where I could be pushed because he wanted me to be the best I could be on the court and he knew that I could handle it. He has also been the coach that has always supported me through adversity and saw me as a player, but also knew who I was as a person.

My Spanish teacher, Mrs. Kooiman, is the sweetest person you would ever meet. This year taking Spanish 3 with her, she has been such an encouragement through talking about the future plans after high school and always has a smile on her face. She puts in full effort into teaching high schoolers, but she also makes mini lesson plans for elementary students, and I have gotten the opportunity to go along to help her teach.
