Favorite High School Athletic Moment
My Sophomore year for basketball, we moved up a division for playoffs and we
had a hard-fought OT victory against Laconia. I consider that my best game.

Pre-Game/Event Routine To Get Focused For Competition Include…
On game days, I’m always listening to music throughout the whole day. Music is
crucial for me to really stay locked in. I’ll watch a little film, but not much on the day of the game.

Advice You Would Give To A Freshman High School Athlete
Don’t take practice lightly, treat practice like a game. In the offseason, put time
into your craft and most importantly have fun while doing it. Things happen in
athletics and life that will set you back or knock you down. I’m ALWAYS going to
be 1% better than I was the day before. Every athlete should live by that rule.

A Person(s) Who Had A Major Impact On My Athletic Career & Why Is…
My mom and dad have always been huge for me in my athletic career. I can’t say
I’d really be doing what I’m doing if it wasn’t for them. My mom tells me everyday
that she’s proud of me and I know my dad would be proud as well and I’m going
to continue to make them proud. My siblings Kendra and Noah are also very supportive
of me. I love them with all my heart no matter what. My grandma
might be my number one fan. Grandma is always telling me how proud she is of
me on the football field and on the court. My basketball and football coaches
have always been supportive of me. I can’t say there’s been a time where these
coaches have really doubted me in any situation as well as my teammates. I love
my teammates like they are my brothers. We joke with each other all the time
and I know they trust me and I trust them as well. I’ll always have their backs and
I’m excited to see what their futures hold just as much as mine.

Plans For After Graduation
I’m will be attending Iowa Central Community College and playing football then
after 1-2 years transferring to a university to finish my major in exercise science/Kinesiology while playing football.

Favorite High School Teacher & Why
Mr. Dunlavy, no doubt. He’s definitely a person who’s had a major impact on me
in sports and outside of sports. I could write a book about my reasons why but he
probably already knows. He’s always believed in me and wants me to improve
and be successful. I’m forever thankful for him and his support.
