Favorite High School Athletic Moment

My favorite high school athletic moment was winning my first basketball game as a first-year student. It was our first home game in Lindsay gym. My team and I were all first-year students, and we did not think anyone would show up. Suddenly, we noticed a crowd full of friends and teachers. My team and I would go on to win our first game of the season, and it was a home game.

Pre-Game/Event Routine To Get Focused For Competition Include

My pregame routine consists of me praying and listening to my pregame playlist, which consists of rap and R&B music.

Advice You Would Give To A Freshman High School Athlete

My biggest advice to a first-year high school athlete is that “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” Every athlete should remember that there is always someone competing to be better than you. As athletes it is important, we stay humble and focused.

A Person(s) Who Had A Major Impact On My Athletic Career & Why Is…

A person who had a major impact on my Athletic career was my old dean of academics Craig Hill. When I came into my school as a first-year student all I thought about was baseball. Mr. Hill then convinced me to play football. I had no idea what I was doing and after the first game I wanted to quit. Mr. Hill taught me that no matter what sport I play, if I want to become great at it, I need to put my all in and keep pushing. After my first year of football, I did a football camp that following summer and came back ready to kill on the gridiron.

Plans For After Graduation

My plan after graduation is to either attend culinary school or pursue a biology degree.

Favorite High School Class

My favorite high school class would be English 2. I took this class in my sophomore year, and I enjoyed every book we read.

Favorite High School Teacher & Why

My favorite high school teacher is Carl Michaletz. He is a teacher that has dealt with all my crap and still cares about me and is there whenever I need him.
