(Watertown) Western Industries will be closing its plastics parts production facility in Watertown. The company has told the state that 85 employees will be affected by the plant closure. Layoffs are scheduled to start in mid to late July and will end by late October. The South Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board will reach out to Western Industries and affected workers to provide rapid response services. The program helps companies and worker representatives develop and implement a transition plan.
