WDS Construction Names New Director Of Medical

(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam contractor has named a new director of their medical based projects. WDS Construction – which serves 48 states and develops, manages, and constructs commercial buildings – recently announced that Brandt Beer is the new director of medical. Beer will oversee all medical construction projects across the United States, serve as the point of contact for medical project owners, and expand the WDS medical footprint.

WDS President Ben Westra says they have seen incredible growth with last year’s launching of Cold Storage and Special Services divisions, and they are starting 2022 by creating a director of medical role. Westra says he is thrilled they could fill this client-focused position internally.

Beer, who has been with WDS since 2013, started in the estimating department and spent the last four years working as project manager in the operations department. His work includes the successful turnover on 17 medical clinics and centers as well as multiple commercial, industrial, and retail projects.

Beer holds an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction and Safety Management from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
