95.3 WBEV/1430 ESPN’s Wade Bates has been named the “Media Person of the Year” by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association at their Hall of Fame Luncheon on Saturday in Madison.
“I have a passion for high school and American Legion baseball and do my best to promote the great things prep and college players do on and off the field. I appreciate the honor by the WBCA.” Bates told DailyDodge.com.
Bates has covered high school baseball in the state of Wisconsin for nearly 30 years including the last six years in Beaver Dam for Good Karma Brands. He is also currently the voice of Marian University Baseball on the Marian Sports Network.
