Wayland Senior Raises Awareness About Friends Of Jaclyn Foundation

Wayland Academy senior Griffin Hughland of Columbus, is doing his Senior capstone project on the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation after having a positive with 9-year-old Mason Abraham, who was adopted onto the Big Red’s lacrosse team.

The mission at Friends of Jaclyn is to improve the quality of life for children and their families currently by impacted by cancer. They recognize that the number one way to do this is through the power of community. They individually pair a child with a sports team, club, theater, or any other passion.

Through his project Hughland hopes to raise awareness locally about the cause.
