‘Waupunies’ Celebrates Local Business Achievements

(Waupun) The Waupun Chamber of Commerce has hosted their first ever awards night that honored business achievements within the past year. Nearly 100 people attended the Waupunies on February 8th. During the event, 10 awards were presented to local businesses and community members. The New Business Award was giving to Green Collar Grooming. The Small Business Award went to Rock River Eyewear. The Big Business Award was giving to NBW Bank. Sully’s Sporting Goods received the Customer Service Award. Manufacturer of the year went to Federal-Mogul. SSM Health/Agnesian HealthCare employee Kim Bresser was chosen as the Young Professional of the Year. Guth’s Candy received the Heritage Award. Mayor Julie Nickel recognized Sully’s Sporting Goods for their passion for downtown Waupun. Citizen of the Year was Frank Mesa and the Humanitarian Award went to Tony’s Pizza.
