(Waupun) The Waupun Police Department now has a Lieutenant of Investigations. It’s a new position and Ted Sullivan was sworn in for the position on Monday. Sullivan comes over to the department from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office where he worked for 21 years. Sullivan was a detective with the Sheriff’s Office, but also served on the crash investigation team, as a drug recognition expert, and as a field training officer. Waupun Deputy Chief Jeremy Rasch says he and Chief Scott Louden and police staff have worked with Sullivan over the years. He also likes that Sullivan will be bringing new ideas to the table. Sullivan succeeds Detective Brian O’Donovan who retires January 3rd.
