Waupun & Mayville Pick Up Badgerland Wins On Tuesday

Tuesday Night In The Badgerland Summer High School League….


Waupun 11 Randolph 0 – 6 innings

Waupun won their 6th game in a row with an 11-0 six inning shutout at Randolph in Badgerland Summer League action on Tuesday night.   Cole Hicken struck out eight and gave up just four hits in four scoreless innings to pick up the win.  Hicken also went 2×3 at the plate and drove in a run. Noah Gerritson also drove in a pair for Waupun.  Randolph’s offense could muster just five singles on the night.  Randolph will travel to Fond du Lac on Monday night while Waupun (11-3) hosts Beaver Dam on Wednesday night.  You can watch Waupun and BD on the DailyDodge.com videostream.  The first pitch is set for 6:30pm presented by Columbus Family Dental and Kevin Carnine, Your American Family Insurance Agent.


Mayville 11 St. Mary’s Springs 10

Aaron Anderson’s two run single in the bottom of the 7th gave Mayville an 11-10 walk-off win over St. Mary’s Springs on Tuesday night.   The winning hit scored Kaeden Kehrheyer from second and Hunter Herpl from 1st, who crossed home plate after a throwing error. Herpel went 1×3 with a home run and two walks.  Paddy McFadden was 2×4 and Luke Fehring 2×4.  Alex Nadolski pitched six innings, striking out seven for Mayville.  The win improves Mayville to 8-3 on the season.


Fond du Lac 6 Watertown 3 – Game 1

Watertown dropped a pair of games to Fond du Lac on Tuesday night at Washington Park.  In the opener, Fondy scored four runs over the final three innings to pick up the 6-3 win. Caleb HInkes went 2×4 with a run scored to pace Watertown while Noah Walter doubled and drove in a run.    In the night-cap, Fondy scored five runs in the top of the 6th to steal a 5-1 win.  Ayden Schauer drove in Watertown’s lone run with an RBI single in the 3rd.  Watertown will host Mayville on Thursday night at 7:30pm.
