(Waupun) A Waupun man was arrested after authorities responded to an overdose in the city Monday. Waupun police and EMS were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Carrington Street for a report of a woman who overdosed. Deputy Chief Jeremy Rasch says law enforcement administered Naloxone to the 46-year-old Portage woman who was treated by EMS and released. Rasch says a 38-year-old man was then taken into custody on a probation hold and was transported to the Dodge County Jail. Charges of Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Possession of Cocaine, Heroin Possession, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia are being referred to the county’s district attorney’s office against the man.
