(Watertown) A Watertown woman was sentenced to one and a half years in prison this week after failing to stay out of trouble while on probation for a drug conviction. Misty Paulson was originally sentenced in 2019 to Dodge County Drug Treatment Court, with two years of probation, but did not successfully complete the program. Paulson and a male were arguing in July of 2017 when police were called. When officers arrived, they noticed that both people were under the influence of drugs and that the man’s van contained a number of items common for narcotics use. Police located used and unused needles, a metal cooking tin and point-zero-seven (.07) grams of meth. The 41-year-old was also placed on two years of extended supervision.
