(Watertown) A movie theater in Watertown will be receiving funds as part of the governor’s latest round of coronavirus relief grants. Tony Evers recently announced more than $10-million-dollars to theaters around the state. Towne Cinema, LLC located at 308 East Main Street in Watertown will be receiving $45-thousand-dollars. A movie theater in portage operated by 4R Future, Inc. will be receiving $105-thousand-dollars. This is the second pandemic relief program to assist the movie theater industry in Wisconsin, bringing the total investment to $20-million-dollars. Minor league sports teams and summer camps were also part of this latest round of Evers’ more than $140–million–dollar investment to help the tourism and entertainment industries recover.
