(SHIELDS) A Watertown teenager is dead following a single-vehicle crash near Watertown Saturday night. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at about 6:28 p.m. on County Road Q near Pit Road in the Town of Shields.
Investigators say the 2006 Acura sedan was northbound on Q when it left the roadway and struck several trees before stopping approximately 50 yards off the roadway in a heavily wooded area. The 18-year-old driver from Watertown was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The name of the driver is being withheld as the crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
