Watertown Regional Medical Center Has New Chief Of Staff

(Watertown) Watertown Regional Medical Center has a new chief of staff. Dr. Jason Habeck is tasked with overseeing all care provided by physicians and other medical providers, he will also maintain a seat on the board of Trustees.

Habeck, who is an orthopedic surgeon at the Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, has been at the hospital since 2018. Watertown Regional Medical Center CEO Richard Keddington says Habeck is a tremendous surgeon who is trusted by both his patients and colleagues. Keddington adds that his leadership will be crucial over the next two years to help them continue to provide safe and quality healthcare.

Habeck will be filling the role for Dr. Vikram Goyal, whose two-year term as chief of staff has come to an end. Hospital officials say as the immediate past chief of staff, Goyal will continue to serve on the Board of Trustees. They add that the board’s role is to make sure the community has access to the healthcare services they need while ensuring patients receive quality and safe care.
