(Watertown) There are still a few openings left to sign up for the Watertown Police Department’s Citizen’s Academy. The program is a free, 10-week course where the public can learn more about their local police department.
Weekly lessons include emergency driving courses, criminal investigations, crime scene and evidence processing, dispatching procedures, defense-arrest-and-tactics, OWI arrests, and K-9 demonstrations. The class meets every Thursday from 6:30pm to 9:15 beginning next Thursday, September 8th.
