Watertown Man Convicted Of Child Molestation

(Watertown) A Watertown man was found guilty Tuesday of having inappropriate contact with minors. Nathan Lord plead no contest to a felony count of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child under the Age of 13, a felony charge of Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child was dismissed but read into the record. Lord was also facing a second charge of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child Under the Age of 13 from a different case but it was dismissed and read in. In the summer of 2018, authorities were made aware of a complaint made against Lord for assaulting two minors who were under the ages of 13 in the fall of 2015. One of the victims told investigators that Lord is schizophrenic, suffers from bipolar disorder, manic depression and is a heavy drinker. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and the 40-year-old is due back in court on August 27th.
