Watertown Man Charged With Possessing Illicit Images of Children

(Watertown) A Watertown man charged will possessing illicit images of children was arraigned last week. Jared Osborn stood mute and the court entered a not guilty plea on his behalf to eight felony counts of Child Pornography. A Watertown police officer began investigating a CyberTipline report made against two Google accounts that uploaded illegal images in July. According to the criminal complaint, the accounts were tied back to Osborn. The 30-year-old was brought in for questioning, he allegedly asked if this was involving “child stuff.” Osborn reportedly admitted to searching for the illicit content and attempting to save it in a draft email on his google account. If convicted, Osborn faces up to 200 years in prison.
