Waterloo High School softball coach Deb Braatz was inducted into the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame this weekend. Braatz started the Waterloo softball program back in 1987 and will be entering her 36 seasons this spring. Her record in 35 seasons with the Pirates is 510-160. That includes 12 conference championships. Five Regional titles, and one Sectional championship. That came last season when the Pirates finished runner-up in Division Four. Braatz has been a teacher in the Waterloo School District for the past 40 years.
