(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 320 cases of COVID-19 in Friday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 285 daily infections. There are 22,246 people now having tested positive. Two-point-eight-percent (2.8%) of over 11,000 tests administered came back positive Friday, compared to 3.6-percent Thursday and 2.8-percent Wednesday. State health officials are reporting seven more deaths bringing that number to 689. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 13-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Washington County now has 11 deaths and 289 positive tests. Dodge County has four deaths and 415 cases, an increase of one from Thursday. The county had 174 negative tests returned for a running total of 7,027. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 31 people while 164 have recovered. Jefferson County has four deaths and 152 cases. Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 253 positive tests to date. There has been one death in Columbia County and 55 positive cases. Green Lake County now has 24 cases.
