WASA Bucks Junior Prep Team NWBA National Runner-Up

A pair of Wisconsin teams with local ties had impressive showings at the National Wheelchair Basketball Association National Tournament in Wichita, Kansas over the weekend.

The WASA Bucks Junior Division Prep squad, which including Beaver Dam’s Taylor Post finished runner-up in their division falling in the national championship game to the Lakeshore Sharks (AL) 38-28.  The division includes athletes up to the age of 13.

The WASA Bucks Varsity squad, which included Juneau’s Ava Finger finished 3rd at the event.  The Junior Division Varsity Division includes athletes 14 to 18 years old.
