Warrant Issued For DNA Profile Matching Suspect Who Broke-In To Beaver Dam Residence

(Beaver Dam) An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for a DNA profile that matches the person who burglarized a Beaver Dam residence. Police were called to the home on April 30th after the owner reported damage to their vehicle. When officers arrived, they noticed a small window to the garage had been removed and that that the vehicles driver side window had been shattered. According to the criminal complaint, several dollar bills and some loose change was taken. Investigators also found two spots of blood located on the center console. Blood swabs were taken and sent to the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory for testing. No match was found for either sample in the DNA Index System but did show that the blood belonged to a male subject. If found, the individual could face no more than 12-and-a-half years in prison.
