Visitation Planned for Crash Victims in Campbellsport

2/9/12 – Campbellsport schools will end their classes early Thursday, so the high school can host a public visitation for three students killed in an S-U-V crash early Saturday. Nine girls from the Campbellsport High School soccer team were involved in the vehicle and three died. They had apparently left an overnight sleep-over, went to get fast food, and toilet-papered a friend’s house before their vehicle crashed near the high school around 3:30am. The S-U-V was reportedly speeding when it went over a hillcrest, and hit a bump and a small incline before it lost control. It flipped over and rolled into a farm field before stopping on its wheels 700-feet later. Visitations for 17-year-old Caitlin Scannell, 16-year-old Katie Berg, and 15-year-old Sabrina Stahl will take place from 3-until-7 p-m today in the high school gym. The girls will have separate funerals tomorrow

(Fri) – and the junior and senior high schools will be closed so students and staff members can attend.
