Virtual Meeting Will Cover Proposed Highway Work Between Lodi And Merrimac Ferry

(Lodi) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is hosting a virtual public meeting to discuss improvements along Highway 113 between Lodi and the Merrimac Ferry. There are two proposed projects planned along the 6.2-mile corridor. A highway safety project is scheduled for 2023 to reconstruct the Highway 113/County Road V intersection and will include resurfacing, replacement of curb ramps to meet ADA standards and new guard rail end terminals. A second project will resurface the highway and widen the paved shoulders between Lodi and the Merrimac Ferry landing. Work is slated for 2026 which could be moved a year earlier. The virtual meeting is scheduled for January 14th at 5pm and will be streamed on YouTube Live. A brief question and answer session will be provided after the presentation and the public can submit comments via the YouTube chat or email.
