Vehicle Accident

A 57-year-old man was seriously injured after he crashed his motorcycle into the back of another vehicle yesterday afternoon in the town of Portland. It happened just before 4:30 p-m near the intersection of County Trunk G and Hubbleton Road. Authorities say there is a small crest before the intersection and when the motorcycle came over it the man didn’t have time to stop or avoid the car which was stopped at a stop sign. The man was taken by helicopter to UW-Hospital in Madison. He was not wearing a helmet or eye protection. The driver of the car was not hurt.
