(Dodge County) The United Way of Dodge County is offering a new grant opportunity to the community. It is called a Capacity Building Grant and is designed for a project to be used by a non-profit or education system to build their capacity to serve an emerging or growing need. Allocation of funds will be used only in Dodge County for programming that falls inside of United Way’s pillars of impact: Education, Financial Stability, Personal Safety and Well-Being. Executive Director Harper Mruk says they are committed to strengthening the impact of organizations that are meeting the needs of individuals and families in Dodge County. The grants cannot be used to pay salaries, eliminate previously incurred deficits or expenses, grow endowment funds, lobbying as well as partisan political purpose or campaigns. Award recipients will receive funding in June of this year. Applications are being accepted through March 31, and are available at www.unitedwayofdodgecounty.com.
