(Beaver Dam) Tyjeski Family Chiropractic will hold their final Shred and Serve event this month. This event offers community members an opportunity to bring their confidential documents to be shredded at no charge for safe disposal. Although the service is free, those utilizing the service are asked to bring a cash or check donation for the food pantry. Due to Covid-19, the food pantry cannot take food donation items at this time.
Items that will be accepted for shredding will include white or colored paper, light colored or manila envelopes with or without address windows. There is no need to remove staples, paperclips, or office tape prior to shredding. Boxed and corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans, books, magazines, and hanging folders will not be accepted. A limit of five boxes of materials to be shredded, per individual, is requested to allow for more people to be served. Dr. Jerry Tyjeski says they are “happy to hold this event for the community for the past decade, and proud that people have chosen to pay it forward with generous donations to the food pantry.” The Shred and Serve event will take place on Saturday June 20th from 9am till noon at the Tower Parking Lot East, 134 S. Spring Street in Beaver Dam. For more information about this topic, please contact Joanne or Cindy at 920-885-3020 or email [email protected]
