(Town of Trenton) One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in the Town of Trenton. The incident happened at 2:25pm on Jersey Road near Breezy Point Road.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation shows a farm tractor pulling a forage wagon, operated by a 38-year-old Waupun man, was southbound on Jersey Road when it began to turn left into a farm driveway. A southbound motorcycle, driven by a 42-year-old Markesan man, was attempting to pass the farm equipment when it collided with the forage wagon.
The motorcycle operator sustained serious life threatening injuries and was transported to UW-Hospital in Madison by the Flight for Life helicopter. The Markesan man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The operator of the farm tractor was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team. Dodge County was assisted by Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Flight for Life, and Dodge County Emergency Response Team. Names are being withheld pending family notification.
