7/24/17 – There was a deadly collision between a motorcycle and a riding lawnmower Saturday evening in Columbus. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says both the operator of the riding lawnmower and the operator of the motorcycle died at the scene. The names of the victims have not yet been released. The accident, which happened around 7pm on Hall Road between Boelte and Wendt roads, remains under investigation.
