Update: Authorities Identify Two From Dodge County Injured In Fond du Lac County Motorcycle Crash

(Lomira) Authorities have identified the two Dodge County residents seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Monday evening in Fond du Lac County. Sheriff’s deputies responded at 7:42pm to Highway 45 in the Town of Empire. 35-year-old James Walsh of Lomira was operating the motorcycle traveling northbound on a roadway closed for construction when he struck a large pile of gravel in the northbound lane. The motorcycle went airborne, landing on the left side of the motorcycle, ejecting the driver and a female passenger, 29-year-old Tristynn Walsh of Lomira. The driver was not breathing normally at the scene and CPR was started by a by stander. A Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy that responded to the scene took over CPR and the male subject began to breathe on his own. James Walsh was transported to Theda Clark Medical Center with life threating injuries by Flight for Life Helicopter. Tristynn Walsh was transported to St. Agnes Hospital by City of Fond du Lac Ambulance with serious injuries. The driver and the passenger were not wearing a helmet. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was at the scene by the Eden Fire Department and First Responders, City of Fond du Lac Ambulance and Flight for Life Helicopter.
