Two Free Community Testing Sites Available In Columbia County

(Columbia County) There are two free community testing sites in Columbia County this month. Through tomorrow (Tuesday), the Wisconsin National Guard will be providing drive-through COVID-19 nasal swab testing in Columbus. The testing in Columbus is located at 161 North Dickason Boulevard.

The second site is in Portage located at the Utility Building on 135 Northridge Drive. Testing in Portage will be available through November 25th. Both sites are open from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Appointments are not necessary. Although, health officials say in an effort to save time they encourage online registration.

They say due to unknown amount of interest, prepare for potential wait times. Health officials also ask that all vehicles form a line and that people stay inside at all times. No restroom facilities will be available onsite. All National Guard members assisting will be in uniform and full personal protective equipment. Individuals will be contacted with their results within three to seven business days.
