Two Coronavirus Deaths Reported In Dodge County Saturday

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 934 positive coronavirus cases in Saturday’s daily update. There are 15,369 active cases in the state, a decrease of 669 from Friday. Active cases make up 2.8-percent of the 549-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 527-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 32 deaths bringing that total to 6,052. Deaths account for 1.1-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 457-thousand people have died in the United States.

Dodge County reported two deaths Saturday for a total of 153 and 11,228 cases, a one-day increase of 13 positive tests. The county had 36 negative tests returned for a running total of 38,953.

Washington County has seen 125 deaths, along with 13,426 cases to date. Fond du Lac County recorded one death bringing their total to 87, with 11,682 positive tests on record. The state says Jefferson County has 73 deaths, and 7,653 cases to date. Columbia County has reported 46 deaths and 4,899 positive tests. Green Lake County has 17 deaths with 1,508 cases on record.
