Two Beaverland Must-Skis Help Set New Barefoot-Ski-Line World Record

(Beaver Dam) Two members of the Beaverland Must-Skis helped set a new world record this past weekend. Ben Sether and Mark Mahan took part in the Evinrude Big Pull in Shawano last Sunday where show skiers from 20 different teams across the country assembled. Their goal: set a new Guinness World Record for the number of barefoot skiers behind a single boat. Ben Sether, who has been with the Must-Skis for 21 years, says it took six attempts to fine tune everything. Sether says the 38-barefoot skiers broke their old record of 32 set in 2017. He adds that 40 skiers all left the dock but only 38 made it the distance. The skiers needed to reach 300 meters in order for the record to be set. Sether says it was an honor to be a part of the experience. He says Guinness needs to review the record and once they approve it, everyone involved will get certificates marking their accomplishment.
